  • Torque values sorted herein are to be considered CONTINUOUS, and are meant to translate to "regular duty", in order to prevent premature wear and/or overheating. Typically, a PEAK torque value will be observed for "light-duty" or "intermittent" applications.
  • Please consult our sales office with any questions regarding the determination of voltage, current, speed or torque values for your specific application. We have many years of experience in the motion control industry and are happy to provide assistance to you.
  • Encoder/Brake Compatible Designs can be used in any application in which a non-compatible design would normally be used. However, they may institute an increase in cost. In some cases, the encoder/brake compatible units will actually have a shorter overall length, allowing the ability to save space and weight.

Note: Gearmotor performance is highly influenced by the motor’s ability to dissipate heat and avoid thermal overload, which can damage internal components and even demagnetize the magnets. Proper sizing and selection are the first step to ensuring that the motor is not at risk of thermal overload within the parameters of the application.
